AP People's Association JAC lodges complaint with CBI against GITAM's land encroachments

The JAC of Communities on Monday lodged a complaint with the CBI seeking an inquiry into the GITAM University land encroachments alleging it to be involved in land grabs for the last 40 years. Constructions were carried out at will on the lands they occupied and charged crores of fees from students. They demanded that the University recognition should be revoked. "We welcome the Andhra Pradesh government move for taking over the lands occupied by GITAM and condemn Chandrababu's support for GITAM University irregularities, ”the JAC of Communities said in a complaint to the CBI.
