YS Jagan launches YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme, credits farmers accounts with Rs. 2000

The second tranche of YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme was launched by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday transferred Rs 1,114.87 crore to farmers' accounts from his camp office in Tadepalli, keeping his promise to provide financial support to farmers before the annual kharif and rabi seasons. The government transferred the farmer's guarantee to their accounts under the second tranche as promised to the farmers despite revenue drought in the state in the wake of the corona epidemic.

Speaking on the occasion, CM YS Jagan said, under the second tranche of YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan, more than 50 lakh farmer families will be benefited. "We are providing Rs.13,500 per annum under-investment assistance. We are providing Rs. 7,500 in May, Rs. 4,000 in October and Rs. 2,000 for Sankranthi. We have already deposited Rs 2,000 in advance in May. Today we are providing another Rs 2,000," YS Jagan said.
