Delhi's Jama Masjid will reopen from July 4: Shahi Imam

Delhi's historic Jama Masjid will be opened on July 4 to collectively offer prayers. Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the royal imam of the mosque, gave this information on Tuesday. Earlier on 11 June, the mosque was closed by 30 June in view of the 'serious' situation due to the rapid increase in the cases of Covid-19 in Delhi. Bukhari said the decision to reopen the mosque was taken after consultation with people and experts.
