International Women's Day 2022: “ Equality of the sexes and a sustainable future are intrinsically linked. The role & contribution of girls & women around the world in dealing with climate change at the ground level (on a micro village level) and the fight for a sustainable tomorrow is now being recognized by decision-makers and those in power. Women need to be empowered & enabled at par with men in all respects so that they can deal better with the devastating impact of climate change as they are more vulnerable to climate change impacts than men. Give them a voice and power, and watch how they strive to negate the impact of our greed and rampaging climate change. By excluding half of the earth’s human population from power & decision making etc, we are doing mother Earth a great dis-service that will haunt for us decades to come.
