Bandh gets mixed response in Srikakulam

Bharat bandh gets mixed response in the Srikakulam district. Left parties and it's affiliated trade unions called for Bharat bandh today by opposing BJP led NDA government's anti-poor, anti farmers and anti-workers policies. Indian National Congress and various trade and employees unions supported the bandh call and they also participated. The government declared holiday for all educational institutions and private management also follow the same. APSRTC cancelled bus services till evening in the wake of the bandh. Due to cyclone rains people movement not witnessed on roads.
