Anu has to mend her ways?
Despite scoring a box office hit 'Namma Veetu Pillai' in Tamil, young actress Anu Emmanuel is not reportedly getting offers since she is not professional enough.
"She didn't turn up for many promotional events of the film 'Namma Veetu Pillai' and also quoting big sums as remuneration for new films. Hence, she is unable to grab more offers in Kollywood," says a source from Chennai.
Although she was in discussion for roles opposite stars like Vijay Sethupathi and Jayam Ravi, the Mallu girl will find it difficult to sign them. "Tamil producers are keen about discipline and commitments.
They can't tolerate indiscipline and tantrums. She has to mend her ways and become more professional, otherwise it would be a difficult journey for the young diva,' the source adds.
Actually, Anu Emmanuel made her mark in T-town with big films like 'Naa Peru Surya' opposite Allu Arjun and 'Shailaja Reddy Alludu,' with Naga Chaitanya but commercial success eluded the sexy siren.
With Anu showing more interest to work with top-stars in Telugu, the offers dried up a bit. "She has to work with second-rung Telugu heroes, otherwise it will be difficult for her to keep her stocks high," the source points out.
The 'Majnu' actress wants to explore Kollywood instead of compromising in Telugu cinema. "She can strike a balance between Tamil and Telugu films like Kajal and Tamannaah but she has to be more steadfast and reasonable in her demands to become a sought-after multilingual actress," the source concludes.
