83- The most anticipated film of Deepika Padukone First look is out, She is Damn impressive in BoB

Kabir Khan's' 83 is one of this year's most anticipated Bollywood films for several reasons; whether it's the iconic backdrop, an ensemble cast, or the silver screens reunion of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The movie will star Deepika Padukone slipping into Kapil Dev's wife Romi Dev's shoes, while Ranveer Singh will be seeking out the iconic cricketer.

Well, Kabir, in the past, had once said how he feels that Deepika is the perfect choice to play Romi and, now that her first look from the film is out, we totally agree with the filmmaker!

In the photo of the first look, we can see the Deepika nailing the portrayal of Romi Dev with utmost perfection as she sports a bob and a broad smile that reminds us of Romi from her younger days. She wears a black turtleneck top with a cream-coloured skirt and looks into the eyes of Ranveer Singh with devotion. Ranveer, too, has beautifully pulled Kapil Dev off, whether it looks wise or the body of the former skipper body language. Is there anything this talented couple can't do? We guess not!

Talking of her small yet crucial role as Romi in' 83, Deepika told BT, "It has been an absolute honour to be able to play a small yet significant part in a film portraying one of the most iconic moments in sporting history. Through my mother, I saw the role of a wife closely. Wife plays out the professional and personal aspirations of her husband in the game. 83, to me it is in many ways is an ode to every woman who puts her husband's dream before her own."
