Alia Bhatt Thanked ‘Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ For Their Humble Invite

Bollywood cute doll Alia Bhatt expressed her gratitude on the 'Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences' for inviting her to their event. She doled out that, it made her feel humbled and honoured.

This Sadak 2 actress took to her Instagram and thanked the event organizers dropping a heartfelt note.

Through this post, Alia thanked the event organizers and also mentioned that "I thank The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for inviting me to be a member of the Academy. I feel at once honoured and humbled. There is also a deep satisfaction in seeing that the voice of Indian cinema is finding a very well deserved platform on the world stage." 

Alia also extended the note by expressing her happiness as Indian cinema is getting recognized globally, "Every year, more actors, filmmakers and technicians from India are recognised by the Academy and Indian cinema continues to reach the hearts and homes of people all over the world."

Further, this Student Of The Year actress mentioned how the 'Cinema' turning into a great unifier, "I truly believe that cinema, like water, finds its level. And, like water, it knows no race, class, border or geography and flows freely. It takes everything in its course: audiences who passionately love or hate it, critics who dissect it, students who immerse themselves in it. Our opinions about films may be divided, but cinema as a whole is a powerful binding and unifying force."

Finally, she ended her note appreciating 'Social Media' as it is connecting the people from all over the world, "In a world that can be unsure and fragmented, at a time when the very social media that is meant to connect people ends up dividing them, movies are the glue that binds us."

Even other Bollywood biggies like Hrithik Roshan, fashioner Neeta Lulla, Nandini Shrikent, documentary filmmakers Nishtha Jain, Shirley Abraham, Amit Madheshiya, visual effects supervisors Vishal Anand and Sandeep Kamal received their invites for attending 'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' (AMPAS).

Coming to Alia's work front, Alia's upcoming movie 'Sadak 2' will be released on Disney+ Hotstar soon. She will also join the sets of 'Gagubai Kathewadi' post lockdown.
