Dancing In-front of Madhuri Dixit Was Nerve-Wrecking Says Alia Bhatt

Actress Alia Bhatt quips that dancing in-front of Madhuri Dixit for Ghar More Pardesiya was a nerve-wrecking experience on the sidelines of a recent media interaction.

Ghar More Pradesiya, the first song of Kalank, was Madhuri Dixit and Alia Bhatt going head-to-head in a classical dance routine, which was a daunting experience for Alia.

Talking about the song, dance and working with Madhuri Dixit, actress Alia Bhatt said, "It was nerve-wrecking to dance in front of Madhuri Dixit, but then again I was nervous about the whole thing all together. The Fact that Madhuri Ma'am will be there, the fact that it is classical number, the fact that I've never done a classical number before, or Indian dancing in my life, my body-language is opposite of graceful, according to me"

Further adding, she said, "So it was the whole experience of it that was scary but to be honest, I love things that scare me. And I think one should a little bit of things that they are scared about, and this whole experience scared me a lot, and I think I've done my bit of scary things for the time being. But I learned a lot as an actor, human being and performer, just going through the process of the song"

The song has garnered a massive 36 million hits.

The film is directed by Abhishek Varman the film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Production.

Starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Khemu will release on 17th April.
