Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey And Meghna Gulzar Wraps Delhi Schedule Of Chhapaak

Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and Deepika Padukone are collaborating for the first time for a gut-wrenching story about an acid victim survivor, the team has been shooting in Delhi and now the schedule is over and filmmaker confirms that half of the film is complete.

Meghna Gulzar took to her social media profile and shared candid stills with the entire team including Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey. She wrote, "Happily halfway done! Delhi schedule wrap for team #Chhapaak @deepikapadukone @masseysahib @foxstarhindi"

Chhapaak is a biographical based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Actress Deepika will be seen playing the character of acid attack survivor named Malti. She will also be seen donning the producer's hat for the film.

The first look for the film is already out and appreciated by fans for its authentic and hard-hitting approach. In Chhapaak, we'll get to see Deepika in a disfigured avatar.

The film celebrates the undying human spirit that doesn't give up despite adversities at every step.

Chhapaak is produced by Leena Yadav in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. It is scheduled for release on January 10, 2020.
