Deepika Redefines Suicide, Asks Media Not To Compare Sushant Death To Criminal Act

Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life after battling depression, according to a preliminary investigation carried out by the Mumbai police. He was only 34 years old and had cemented a place for himself as a much sought after talent with his hard work.

Hailing from a middle class family, Sushant who came to Delhi for his engineering course went on to pursue his interest in acting. After joining the showbiz with his small screen appearance, Sushant soon caught the attention of filmmakers too due to his immense talent in the craft.

Now, with reports emerging that Sushant was a victim of depression, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has voice her concerns over mental health again. A few years back, Deepika had come out in the open to share her experience about depression and how she overcame them. Now with sushant's passing away, she sent out a clear message to people to listen in. She also asked those who were depressed to speak out and share their problems with the hashtag #YouAreNotAlone

That's not it. She even used the platform to tell the media that people who end their lives should not be compared to a criminal by saying they committed suicide.
