Farhan Akhtar's 'Lakshya' Movie Clocks 20 Years

Going with the title, Farhan Akhtar's 'Lakshya' movie shows off the story of a lazy man who had no goal in his life. But after breaking up with his fiancé and bearing the taunts of his family members, Hrithik Roshan who essayed the titular role 'Karan' changes his behaviour and joins the Indian army. Although he dislikes the strict rules and regulations of the army training, slowly he picks up the tempo and gets promoted as 'Acting Captain' and fights strongly against the Pakistani army in the Kargil war.

This Farhan Akhtar directorial had Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta Sharad Kapoor, Om Puri, Boman Irani and Ranvir Shorey in other important roles.

Lakshya movie clocked 20 years today and thus Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram page and dropped the music and lyrics of a patriotic song from the movie on this special occasion… Have a look!

"Kandho se milte hain kandhe kadhmo se kadham milte hain… Hum chalte hain jab aise to dil dushman ke hilte hain…" Farhan added these lyrics of this patriotic song and made us go proud.

Along with these lyrics, Farhan also added a few words to his post, "16 years of Lakshya... an experience that's much more than a film to me and all who created it. Respect & gratitude to the Indian Army for their inspiration and their support.

Lakshya movie is the second venture of Farhan Akhtar… He made his directorial debut with Dil Chahta Hai' in Bollywood.
