Forest Gump Hindi adaptation confirmed by Aamir Khan as 'Lal Singh Chadha

Aamir Khan on his birthday confirmed he will be seen next in the remake of Tom Hanks starrer classic film, 'Forest Gump'. The actor has bought rights for the film from Paramount Pictures.

The actor also revealed the title of the story will be 'Lal Singh Chadha'. The film will be directed by Secret Superstar director Advait Chandan and is to be produced by Amir Khan productions and Viacom 18.

Earlier in an interaction Aamir had revealed he is working on a new project by getting into shape. On his birthday the actor disclosed more information about the film, he said,"We have started the prep work on the film. The shoot will start from October. I will be prepping for six months. I have to lose weight. I will be losing 20 kgs. I have to be lean and slim,"

Aamir also added the makers are planning for tentative 2020 release but they are still looking for a complete cast. "I have always loved 'Forrest Gump' as a script. It is a wonderful story about this character. It is a life affirming story. It is a feel good film. It is a film for the whole family,"

The actor also revealed he would be sporting a turban "for some part of the film".

Aamir was last seen in the 'Thugs of Hindostan' which fairly failed at the box office. Since the failure Mr. Perfectionist has been reportedly seen giving assurance that he will try his best to never fail the audience again
