Bollywood actor Sushant singh Rajput

On the one hand, fans and family of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput have been grieving over the sudden demise of the actor, there is a virtual war brewing between two groups on social media. One that believes the Bollywood mafia (as Kangna Ranaut put it) drove Sushant to take the extreme step caused by depression over lack of opportunities and the other like group comprising Sonam Kapoor saying blaming Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt is the height of idiocy.

However, big names like Shekar Kapur and Saif Ali Khan calling the fraternity's newfound love for Sushant hypocrisy. While there is another discussion over how mental health matters politician Sanjay Nirupam has joined the bandwagon of those up in arms against nepotism in Bollywood. In his message, he said that the deceased actor, Sushant Singh Rajput had been signed on for seven movies after his previous hit Chicchore became a blockbuster hit. However, Nirupam claims that the actor lost all the movies in just six months which called cruelty of the film industry.

Here's what Nirupam's tweet translates to in English—After the success of Chhichhore, Sushant Singh Rajput had signed as many as seven films. However, over a span of six months, he lost them all. Why? The cruelty of the film industry works at another level. This was this cruelty that took his life and we lost a talented actor. My obeisance to Sushant.

Shekar Kapur had tweeted that he was aware of the situation Sushant was in and said that what happened was not the actor's karma but those from the industry that had let him down.

This tweet and Nirupam's reply has brought back the million-dollar question is Bollywood elite club for real? We know star kids get easy entry and also have access to the best of filmmakers, thanks to the influence their clout has, but what happened to newcomers and those who don't hail from the film background? If Sushant did lose all seven films after he was roped in for the movie as Nirupam claim, then there is a serious problem there. The collective conscience of the Bollywood fraternity must wake up and contemplate.
