Kangana Ranaut Has The Right To Express Her Thoughts: Bombay HC
Bollywood ace actress Kangana Ranaut has received a positive response from Bombay High Court. It is all known that, a few days ago, a petition was filed against Kangana Ranaut regarding her controversial tweets on Twitter. Well, the Bombay HC has come up with a positive statement in favour of this 'Queen' actress.
According to the sources, Justices SS Shinde and MS Karnik, who were hearing the petition doled out, "This petition needs to be converted into a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), otherwise many people will read newspapers and start coming to the court stating they are hurt. Constitutional right and constitutional remedy are different. This is a vague petition."
Justice Shinde also added, "Any individual can have this account. She also has the fundamental right to have an account to express her thoughts. So, you have to show how your fundamental rights are breached. Unless the case comes under the reasonable restrictions, can we accede to your request? If you have to judge what will you do?"
A few days ago, a petitioner named Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh has dropped a petition in Bombay HC accusing Kangana Ranaut that creating a rift between communities with her tweets. He also claimed that Kangana's tweets on Maharashtra Government and Mumbai are hurtful.
Speaking about Kangana Ranaut's work front, she will be next seen in former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha's biopic which is titled as 'Thalaivi'. Being the biopic of the great leader of Tamil Nadu, this movie is being directed by A L Vijay and is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh under Vibri Media and Karma Media & Entertainment banners.
