Laxmi Raai signs her second Bollywood film

Though Laxmi Raai made her debut way back in 2005, she never got a chance to make it big either in Tamil or Telugu. Finally, she gained stardom by doing item songs in films like Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Khaidi No:150. Her song with Chiranjeevi, Rathalu Rathalu, was a big hit among the audience.

Last year, Laxmi Raai ventured into Bollywood with the erotic thriller Julie 2. But it bombed badly at the box office. Now, she signed her second Hindi film which will be directed by Deepak Tijori. Nazia Hussaini, Shama Sikander, Alankrita Sahai and Kainaat Arora will be seen in the other pivotal roles.

According to the makers, this movie will be a new age thriller. The regular shoot will commence soon. It is being bankrolled jointly by Rahul Mittra and Rahul Chaddha. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
