Madhuri Dixit Nene Unveils 15 August Trailer

Madhuri Dixit Nene adds another feather in her cap, turns producer for the forthcoming film titled 15 August, unveils the first official trailer.

The Kalank actress Madhuri Dixit took to her social media profile and dropped the trailer of her maiden Marathi film as producer, 15 August. She captioned it, "So happy to finally share with you the trailer of my 1st project as a producer. This one's very close to my heart! The film, 15 August, is a heart-warming tale of love and community. A couple plans to elope on Independence Day but fate has other plans. The engagement ring, along with the little boy who tries to retrieve it, gets stuck bang in the middle of Gandhi Chawl! As the residents unite to solve the problem, they must get ready to face some awkward truths and learn a lesson in unity.

Swapnaneel Jayakar has directed the film and it features Rahul Pethe, Mrunmayee Deshpande, and Adinath Kothare.

"15 August", co-produced by the actor's husband Dr Shriram Nene, is all set to release on the service across 190 countries.

It is the second Marathi project for Netflix after "Firebrand".
