Meet Abhimanyu Singh - Baddie Of Sooryavanshi

The baddie of film Mom, actor Abhimanyu Singh is all geared up to give Akshay Kumar some serious competition as he has been roped in to play baddie in Sooryavanshi.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to expand his cop universe as he has kick-started his upcoming directorial titled Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar in the titular role. In the film, the Khiladi of Bollywood will be seen as ATS chief and it stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead. And now Abhimanyu Singh has been roped in to play baddie in the film.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on social media. He wrote, "Abhimanyu Singh to play the baddie in #Sooryavanshi... Will play the main antagonist opposite Akshay Kumar...Directed by Rohit Shetty"

Sooryavanshi is first of its kind amalgamation of all the cop universe character Rohit Shetty has created. The film is stand alone story but will see special cameos from Singham aka Ajay Devgn and Simmba aka Ranveer Singh.

Kumar's character as Veer Sooryavanshi was announced towards the end of Simmba (2018) that served as a character introduction of Sooryavanshi.

The film has gone on floors and will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad and Bangkok. It's slated to release on Eid 2020.
