Nervous And Excited About SOTY 2 Says Tiger Shroff

Tiger Shroff, who is geared up to take SOTY franchise forward with SOTY 2, says he is nervous and excited about taking the franchise forward.

Team SOTY 2, including Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria graced the launch of an amazing deal on the popular Cinepolis Combo here in Mumbai.

"Student Of The Year" launched three big names in Bollywood – Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Mahotra, and now Tiger Shroff is taking the franchise forward with debutante Ananya and Tara.

Talking about being nervous about taking the franchise forward, Tiger said, "I am excited and nervous; obviously we have some huge expectations in front of us. The first film being such a big hit and it's a successful franchise, so taking the franchise forward is sort of pressure, but it is something we're ready for and we're happy with the final product"

SOTY-2 trailer has been facing backlashes on social media, for depicting unrealistic college life and now Tiger Shroff has a witty reply for the unhappy fans.

He said, "I think, just the fact that people are already talking about it, people talking about our trailer in all kinds of ways, it definitely proves the point that we have created some sort of impact on social media. I absolutely agree with the audiences and the people on social media, who are talking about it. I think this is whole different kind of college, and I wish I was in this college. I didn't have to study"

"And I think it is nice that it is showing sports and this and that. It shouldn't be just about studies, just have fun, enjoy your youth and have a balanced lifestyle in college" added Tiger.

Student of the Year 2 is written by Arshad Sayed and directed by Punit Malhotra. It is produced by Karan Johar, the film releases on 10th May 2019.
