Nobody Was Ready To Marry Me: Raveena Tandon

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has a big fan following. She was the heartthrob of many during the time her career was at its peak. Nut nobody was prepared to marry her in those days. If people are wondering what is the reason Raveena Tandon herself has revealed a few details during an interview.

Raveena Tandon had adopted two girls in 1995 when she was about 21 years of age. This had created a big buzz in the filmy circles. People thought that her decision would affect her professional career. "I was 21 years old when I adopted those girls which was an untimely decision. But I consider it as a good decision even today. Every moment I spent with those children was beautiful. Hugging those kids and walking with them was a delightful experience," recalls Raveena.

A single mother bringing up children is not easy. This could have been detrimental to Raveena's pride and prestige. "People were skeptical about this decision of mine and nobody was prepared to marry me with those kids. What has to happen will happen. Maybe I am not that blessed," thus had stated Raveena Tandon once. Later, Raveena married a film distributor by name Anil Thadani in 2004 in Rajasthan's Udaipur according to Punjabi customs.

The actress gave birth to a baby girl named Raasha in the year 2005, and a son by name Ranbir Vardhan in the year 2008. While recently speaking to a media house, the actress revealed some harsh realities in Bollywood. During the 90s, many articles were written against Raveena Tandon in the gossip columns. The Mast Mast girl had to struggle a lot to get a chance in each movie. But the actress said she never tried immoral ways to get a chance in the movies. "I didn't have any Godfather. No Hero promoted me. I never slept or had any affair with any hero to get chances in the movies. Many called me an egoist as I didn't dance according to their tunes," concludes Raveena Tandon.
