Not Hindu, Not Muslim, I Am An Indian Says Arjun Kapoor
India's Most Wanted Teaser received a lot of flanks for the use of Bhagwat Gita Shloks while showing a terrorist on screen and now Arjun Kapoor has a befitting reply for the trolls.
Arjun Kapoor and Filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta hosted a press-junket for the trailer release of India's Most Wanted here in Mumbai.
Talking about getting trolled and receiving flanks on the teaser, Arjun Kapoor said, "I am not a Hindi, I am not Muslim, I am an India, and we all are India's making a film here. And be rest assured we're putting our country and humanity first, and we're doing right by everybody. This film is about those people who do not think about religion, caste and creed. It is genuinely a story about those people. We are making it very small by discussing such issue or giving importance to it"
"There are people who would like such topics to be discussed rather than the important facades of our Intelligence bureaus to be discussed. I would like you all to go back home and consider whether that conversation is even worth it. It is interesting for people to type thing sitting at homes but do they go and put themselves out there, are they putting their lives on line"
"People use words to rationalize bad, people use religion to make others to feel a certain way, we are depicting a film, which is Pro-India. So please give this film a chance before allowing such things" added Arjun Kapoor.
The movie talks about a team of Indian Intelligence officers capturing and neutralizing a terrorist, which was known as India's Osama.
India's Most Wanted, which also stars Rajesh Sharma, Prashanth, and Prashanth P Alexander, will hit the screens on May 24.
