Prabhas Is Very Kind Says Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor confirms that actor Prabhas has personally called and praised his portrayal in Kabir Singh and said, the Baahubali actor is very kind.

News was viral that superstar Prabhas has personally called Shahid Kapoor and congratulated him on his stellar portrayal of Kabir Singh, which is a remake of Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy.

Now Shahid Kapoor shed some light on it, he said, "I spoke to Prabhas and he was very kind. Actually we both share the same hair stylist. And he was there and Kabir Singh trailer topic came up, so he called and wanted to speak to me and he was very kind, I was so overwhelmed. Because he is such a big star and he is Baahubali for us, forever and always, so it was really cool to hear such nice words"

"So it was nice to get such encouraging words because most of the Hindi audience don't know, when this film was made in Telugu, Arjun Reddy, it was an iconic film and the kind of love it got, was amazing. I mean there is only handful films which gets such love; I got such few films which people think they shouldn't ever be made again. You shouldn't touch something that is so good. But honestly the same filmmaker wanted to make the film and I found the role quite exciting"

Shahid Kapoor also shared about hit "wellness mantra" stating that he is into fitness as well and believes in recovery of body post tough gym routine.

He said, "Relaxation in life is really important. I think we are living in a time where we get stressed about a lot of things; there is a lot of information which is going in our system. So I think relaxing is very important and I think taking vacation with families is very important. So every time I get a chance, I'd like to take a vacation with my family. I'd like to go destinations which are relaxing and we get time to spend with each other"

"I am also into fitness, I think as much as you go to the gym and hard work you put in to shape your body, one should spend as much time to recover the body as well. So I believe in recovery a lot"

Kabir Singh is written and directed by Sandeep Vanga. It is a remake of his own Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017). The film also stars Kiara Advani and slated for 21 June 2019.
