Sara Ali Khan Opens Up About Seeing Her Grandmother Sharmila Tagore In Movies
Bollywood's glam doll Sara Ali Khan who is basking in the success of her latest movie 'Coolie No. 1' spoke to media and opened up about her bond with legendary actress and dear grandmother Sharmila Tagore.Being a dotting daughter of Pataudi Khaandan, Sara has said that, Sharmila Tagore is her pillar of strength. "Pillar of strength and inspiration" and branded her as epitome calling "dignity and grace".
Sara showered all her love on her grandmother doling out, "extremely maternal and loving grandmother".
Sara also opened up on watching her grandmother'smovies, "If I watch 'Aradhana', and 'Mere Sapno ki Rani', I'm like, Oh my God, that's my dadi! Like, are you serious? Because she's just superb, you know, she's a star. I think she's the first star in my opinion."
"It's almost confusing for her to believe that if Sharmila is her grandmother". She said, "You know, it's weird. It is very strange. But, I mean, she's amazing. And I'm very lucky to have her in my life."
Speaking about Sara Ali Khan's work front, she was last seen in Varun Dhawan starrer 'Coolie No. 1' movie…This movie is directed by David Dhawan and bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh under Pooja Entertainment banner. This flick has Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever in the prominent roles.
Coolie No. 1 is the remake of 1995 film which has the same name. As the Covid-19 pandemic is rapidly spreading in the country, the makers have decided to go with the OTT platform and released the movie on Amazon Prime on the occasion of Christmas festival.
Next, this young actress will be seen in 'Atrangi Re' movie which is directed by Anand L Rai and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Akshay Kumar under T-Series and Cape Of Good Films banners. This movie also has South Indian ace actor Dhanush in another prominent role. According to the sources, Sara will be seen in a dual role romancing with both Akshay and Dhanush.
This love drama will hit the theatres on Valentine's Day 2021.
