Shakeela Biopic Will Have Pan Indis Appeal: Indrajith Lankesh

The most talked about Biopic in the recent times is about yesteryear actress Shakeela. The movie will be released Pan India in about 2000 theatres. Filmmaker Indrajith Lankesh who had called for a press meet in connection with the release of this movie has thrown an open challenge. "We are doing the job of tying a bell to the cat's neck. If we succeed we will become trend setters."

While making this statement, Indrajith further asked, "if people do not come to watch Shakeela which other movie they want to watch?" "This movie is the life story of a South Indian actress. Richa Chadda is the lead actress. Bollywood's Pankaj Tripati is in the main role. We have actor Rajiv from Kerala, and we have Suchendra Prasad and Esthar Noronha from Kannada. We have many from other states also. This is truly a national level movie. Shakeela will be simultaneously releases in Hindi and are dubbed into Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Our languages are growing and borders are diminishing. Now the need of the hour is Pan India Cinema'l," said Indrajith Lankesh.

The movie Shakeela will be released on December 25. Actors, technicians, artists of different other languages have worked in this movie. The teaser of this movie has gone viral and evoked mixed response.
