Kisi pezabardastinahinhaikiwohmeri picture aa kedekhe (Whatever I have done, I did it openly, I did so onscreen, I did not cheat anyone. No one was forced to watch my films.)"

Along with this dialogue, even Shakeela's mother's dialogue "issshehrmein agar rehnahaitohmujhesadakpebiknahogayatujhepardeh par (if we have to survive in this city then either I have to sell my body or you have to do the same onscreen)" also made us witness the situation of Shakeela after the demise of her father.

Shakeela movie is directed by IndrajitLankesh and is bankrolled by Sammys Magic Cinema Motion Picture Production and distributed by UFO.

Speaking about the movie, directorInderjitLankesh said, "Shakeela is truly a labor of love and commitment to show Shakeela's story is iconic in so many ways. Her story is almost folklore today, but the truth is that so much happened to her while she soared to success from nothing and then came back to nothing again. I'm happy that our producers are releasing the film so widely, gives me the confidence to know that it's a film that will appeal to the larger masses. To release in so many languages was important because that was the power of Shakeela."

Shakeela will become the first movie to get released in the theatres in almost 1000 screens post lockdown on 25th December, 2020. This flick is made in total 5languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
