SRK to be the first Indian celebrity guest on David Letterman's Netflix talk show
NEW DELHI: Shah Rukh Khan will be making an appearance as a guest on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, a Netflix talk show hosted by David Letterman. It is expected that the actor will shoot for the show in New York on May 16 in the presence of a live audience. But there has been no official confirmation regarding the date yet. The show has hosted Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai and Jerry SeinfeldIt earlier. SRK will be the first Indian celebrity to appear on the show.
David Letterman, a popular American television personality, has hosted late night television talk shows for about 33 years. He hosted his own show "Late Night with David Letterman" on NBC. After retiring from TV, he began a Netflix talk show called "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman."
It is supposed that Shah Rukh Khan will promote his first web production "Bard of Blood" on Letterman's show. Bard of Blood will be debuted on Netflix in the near future. The show is based on Bilal Siddiqi's novel "The Bard of Blood". The series describes the tales of an expelled spy, Kabir Anand (played by Emraan Hashmi), who is recalled from his new life as a Shakespeare professor in Panchgani to save his country and a long-lost love. The show stars Emraan Hashmi, Kirti Kulhari, Amyra Dastur and Sobhita Dhulipala among others.
