The horrifying case of rape and murder of a veterinarian doctor in Hyderabad took a shocking turn on Friday morning when the whole country woke up to the news of the Hyderabad police shooting all the four men accused in an encounter. The men who were accused of raping and then murdering the girl were reportedly taken to the spot of investigation during the early hours of the day, where one of them signalled the rest to run away and that's when the police shot all the four men in the encounter. However, this news of the drastic step taken by the Hyderabad police resulted in mixed reactions by the public as some hailed them tremendously for taking the right decision and giving justice to Disha (name changed), while others called it an impulsive decision on the part of the police.

Rishi wrote, "Bravo Telangana Police. My congratulations!"

On the other hand, singer-composer Vishal Dadlani did not look very happy with the decision and slammed the people for calling it as an act of justice for the girl. He tweeted, "We live in a time where the absolute failure of the justice system is hailed as 'justice'. Just so you know, cops killing people without a trial can land at your door too, someday".

Meanwhile, De De Pyar De actress Rakul Preet Singh also tweeted, "How far can you run away after committing a crime like Rape .. #JusticeForPriyankaReddy #Encounter thankyou #Telanganapolice".
