Vidyut Jammwal Starring Junglee Gets A New Release Date
Action Superstar Vidyut Jammwal starring Junglee defer its release, the action adventure extravaganza was earlier slated for 5th April release, will now open in theatres on March 29.
Actor Vidyut Jammwal dropped a new teaser and release date on his social media profile. He captioned it, "#Junglee releasing on #March29 #18daystogo #IAmEnough #Kalaripayattu #ChuckRussell @JungleeMovie @JungleePictures @IAmPoojaSawant @StarAshaBhat"
Junglee, which marks the Bollywood directorial debut of Hollywood filmmaker Chuck Russell, features debutante Pooja Sawant and Asha Bhat, along with main lead Vidyut Jammwal.
The film was earlier clashing with John Abraham-starrer spy thriller RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter also opening on April 5, now the film will clash with Salman Khan production Notebook, launch vehicle of Mohnish Bahl's daughter, Pranutan, and Zaheer Iqbal.
The film is set in Orissa and revolves around the unique friendship between a man and an elephant and a poaching racket. Besides Asha and Pooja, Vidyut also has a therapy elephant named Un as a co-star.
The film's story, which is written by Ritesh Shah is set in the jungles and sees Vidyut's Raj return from Mumbai for his mother's 10th death anniversary and reunite with his elephant friend.
