Golden Star Ganesh, the name which was once synonymous with comedy shows on TV later became a household name in the Kannada film industry. Thanks to his loverboy Preetham role in his highly successful movie Mungaru Male, the Kannada actor became a name to reckon with in the industry.

The best thing about Ganesh is that he is an extrovert and often communicates with his fans. He still has the same sense of humour he had as a chat show host.

We all know that with coronavirus all the events have been stalled. Even movie shootings came to a halt to prevent the spread of the pandemic. During the lockdown period, several stars asked their fans not to throng their houses or assemble in groups to celebrate their birthdy. Most actors put out a message on the social media pleading with fans not to venture out and to stay safe. Now, the latest to join the bandwagon is none other than Golden Star Ganesh. Even though the government has given a go ahead to filmmakers to resume shoot of TV serials and movies, they are expected to follow some SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) during the shoot like maintaining safe distance, use of highest hygiene measures and of course keep the crew members on the sets to a bare minimum. Yet, Ganesh has decided to give his birthday celebrations a miss this year.
