Remember we told you that the Tamil remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum was in the offing? Now, guess what we heard. Apparently, the Tamil remake of the Malayam flick will see Suriya Sivakumar share screen space with none other than his actor brother Karthi.
We all know that both the Kollywood actors are immensely talented and also enjoy a huge fan base. So if this news doing the rounds about the siblings coming together for a movie is true then it will be double whammy for the fans of the actors. The only other time the two appeared together was in Kadaikutty Singam which starred Karthi in the lead role. Suriya made a guest appearance in the movie which was much talked about.
Ever since fans have been waiting to see them together again on the big screen. The Malayalam flick starred the combination of Prithviraj and Biju Menon. The remake rights for Tamil was purchased by Aadukulam producer Kathiresan. Now, it remains to be seen if there is any truth to this rumour about the two working together in the movie. If it does happen, it would be a visual feast for the fans of the duo.
Karthi is riding high on the success of his previous movie Kaithi which was a massive hit. The movie was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj whose next project is Thalapathy Vijay's Master. Suriya will be next seen in Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara. The Kollywood actor came in for heavy criticism for his decision to release his production featuring his wife Ponmagal Vanthal on OTT.
