Kaithi Hindi Remake: Sanjay Dutt To Reprise Karti Role?

Kollywood actor Karti's latest release Kaithi did exceptionally well at the box office. The film opened to fantastic reviews and won the hearts of fans and critics alike. The film raked in substantial moolah too much to the delight of the Tamil actor's fans.

After the super success of the Karti movie, several filmmakers from Bollywood were vying to buy the Hindi remake rights. Kaithi which was produced under Dream Warrior Pictures by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu. The film was directed by Lokesh Kangaraj. However, Reliance Entertainment decided to join hands with Dream Warrior Pictures to bankroll the Hindi remake of Kaithi.

Kaithi is a no-nonsense action drama which appealed to the family crowd. the gripping thriller just got bigger as we hear that Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to act in the Hindi remake of Kaithi if a report doing the rounds is anything to go by. Karthi played the role of Dilli in Kaithi and this bit of news happens to be true then gear up to see Sanju Baba reprising the same role.

Besides Karti, the film also featured Mariam George, Baby Monica, Arjun Das, Dheena and Narain in supporting cast.

Meanwhile, Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj is busy with the shoot of his next titled Master with Thalapathy Vijay. In all probability, the director will start work on a sequel to Kaithi after he wraps up the Vijay movie.

Kanagaraj himself confirmed the news on Twitter when he tweeted: "To answer all your txts and calls yes" Dilli will be back". So this should come as music to the ears of Karti.
