My Wounds Are Deeper Than My Flesh: Prakash Raj On Surviving Nepotism
South Indian actor Prakash is a constant in any Tollywood movie. He has also made a mark for himself in Sandalwood and Kollywood. He has worked in an infinite number of Kannada, Tamil and Telugu movies. He is now the most sought after actors to play key roles in South movies. But did you know that Prakash Raj, whose earlier name was Prakash Rai and hailed from Karnataka, did not have it easy in the industry?
Prakash Raj may be a hugely successful star today but back when he started off it was not easy to break into the industry with the presence of star kids. Not only did he break the barricade with his work, but he also cemented his position to be the most bankable actors for filmmakers. His presence brings magic on the screen and his voice is another story.
We already told you that the death of Sushant Singh Rajput from depression has sparked the debate of nepotism again in the film industry. As a tribute to Sushant, Prakash Raj shared an old video of the late actor speaking about nepotism. In the video, the Bollywood actor is seen saying that although nepotism can co-exist, the complete system collapses if it were to be done deliberately. Sharing the video, Prakash Raj has written that he was also one of the actors who survived nepotism and that his wound is deeper than his flesh. Have a look at his message and Sushant video.
