Rajinikanth's Padayappa Director In Andhadun Tamil Remake

Famous South Indian director KS Ravi Kumar who has helmed movies like Rajinikanth's Lingaa, Muthu and Padayappa will be acting in the Tamil version of the hindi movie 'Andhadhun".

Ravi Kumar will be seen in a vital role in this movie along with the lead actor Prashanth. The team itself which made this announcement have not disclosed what kind of character Ravi Kumar is going to play.

Ravi Kumar, who recently performed his daughter's marriage, is planning to resume the shooting of his current project shortly.

Prashanth will be enacting the role played by Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana in the Hindi original Andhadhun while senior actress Simran will be reprising the role of Tabu. It is not yet known who is going to take up the role of Radhika Apte in Andhadhun Tamil remake.

This movie is bankrolled by Prashanth's father Thyagaraj who is a senior Kollywood actor. The movie will be helmed by JJ Frdricks of Jyothika's 'Ponmagal Vandhal' fame. Nithiin is the lead actor in the Telugu version of this movie. Thamannaah Bhatia will be playing Tabu's character in Telugu, we hear. There is a possibility of Nabha Natesh playing the role played by Radhika Apte.

The shooting of the Telugu version has already started. Meanwhile, the Malayalam version of this movie will have Prithvi Raj Sukumaran in the lead role. Mamatha Mohan Das and Ahana Krishna will be playing the roles played by Tabu and Radhika Apte in all probabilities.
