Sanjay Dutt is okay with working in Tamil cinema

After Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar were seen in films starring southern superstars Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth over the past two decades, news is that Sanjay Dutt has also okayed proposals from Tamil cinema producers. The maverick hero, who is now been a leading man for 40 years in Hindi cinema, has always been among the top names in the movie industry of Mumbai, despite being in and out of various jails in the past two decades.

Maintaining an easy, approachable kind of an image and that of a brat who is manageable, Dutt has of late alternated between hero and villain roles in Hindi cinema too. His southern connect is now with the sequel to the Kannada blockbuster KGF, in which he is playing a strong character along with RaveenaTandon from Hindi cinema. The film is to be released by Dussehra this year. Having made an entry in the southern film world, Dutt would not be averse to take up other language projects, say reports in Tamil media.
