When Luck Favoured Thala Ajith Over Thalapathy Vijay

That Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith are two best talented actors in Kollywood is well known. They share a great rapport in real life but when it comes to movies, they are pitted against each other not by the actors themselves but their respective fans.

Both the actors have made a place for themselves in the industry and now the most bankable stars for Kollwood filmmakers.

We all know that both Thala Ajith and Thalapathy vijay are contemporaries in the industry. The competition between the duo was fierce when it came to choosing of movies. However, there was no bad blood between them whatsoever. To this day, the two praise each other in interviews. The families of both actors are friends too.

This was way back in the year 2004 when both Ajith and Vijay were contenders for the No.1 position in Kollywood. We hear that director Saran went to Vijay with the script of Attagasam. However, Vijay rejected the movie. Finally, the opportunity landed in Thala Ajith's kitty. And guess what? Attagasam went on to become a huge hit. It appears that then luck strongly favoured Thala Ajith more than Thalapathy Vijay. This incident only goes on show that some things aee beyond your control.

Attagasam was released in November 2004. The movie starred Pooja, Babu Antony, Vaiyapuri and Ramesh Kanna in key roles.
