Will Dhanush's next release be on OTT platform?

The crescendo is building up slowly, but surely in Tamil film industry. Actors like Suriya and Siddharth have already decided to go ahead and release their films on OTT platform, not waiting for the situation to normalize in the film industry, post- coronavirus. There have been reports about how films were directly released on various OTT platforms to mixed effect.

Interestingly, the producer of ' Jagame Thandhiram' S Sashikanth is reported to have told a Tamil newspaper that he is in discussion with OTT service providers for releasing his next film starring Dhanush over the Net.

This film has been made with a budget of Rs 65 crore and he says it would not be feasible for him to wait for six months and more for the situation to stabilize for its exhibition across the theatre circuit. The film had a release date of May 1 and now it is not sure when it would finally get released.
