Malayalam Director Collapses On Movie Sets After Heart Attack

Famous Malayalam director Naranipuzha Shanavas succumbed to heart attack on Wednesday. He was aged about forty years. The Mollywood filmmaker had an heart attack on Tuesday while he was on the sets of the movie 'Gandhi Rajan' which he was directing and he was immediately rushed to a private hospital at Cochin.

He had a second attack while he was being transported to the hospital. Hence his condition further worsened and as a result he breathed his last at about 10.20 pm on Wednesday according to hospital sources.

Narani Pula shot to fame this year through his directorial movie ' Sufiyum Sujatha yum". Many fans and celebrities of the film industry have shed tears after they heard the news of his sudden sad demise. His movie 'Sufiyum Sujatha yum' that got released through OTT was lauded profusely by the viewers.

The movie which had a unique love story had Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari, Jaya Surya, Dev Mohan, in the main star cast. Bollywood actress Aditi Rao has expressed her condolences to the late director through her twitter. "He was a very sensitive personality just like his stories. May Shanawaz's sir soul rest in peace just like the way you got our characters peace in the movie 'Sufiyum Sujatha yum' let your Sufi soul find peace. You left too soon. I pray for your family' thus has stated Aditi Rao on her twitter.
