Manmeet Singh offers ‘Superstar Singer 3’ contestant chance to run his music academy
Mumbai: Music composer Manmeet Singh of Meet Bros, who recently appeared on the singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer 3’, has offered contestant Kshitij Saxena the chance to teach at his proposed music institute in Pilibhit.
Kshitij Saxena, hailing from Pilibhit, UP, impressed guest judges Kailash Kher, Rishi Singh, Meet Bros (Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh), Sadhana Sargam, and Deepak Pandit with his performances of songs like ‘Shirt Da Button’, ‘Lamborghini’, ‘Dil Galti Kar Baitha Hai’, and ‘Nachenge Saari Raat’.
His performance was so compelling that Meet Bros decided to present him with the opportunity to run the Meet Bros Academy in Pilibhit once it opens to music aspirants.
Lauding his performance, Manmeet said: "We could have never imagined a child his age singing like this! While it sounds melodious, it is not easy to execute. Kshitij not only sang a romantic song but also a dance number followed by a proper party song. Party songs are the hardest to sing because the beat of any part of the song is standard; it is the voice that makes one dance, and that is what Kshitij did! The way he sang today compelled all of us to dance along with him. Well done.”
He also told Neha Kakkar that if they ever plan to do a duet, they would love to record a song where Neha could be paired with Kshitij.
“Kshitij has always spoken so highly of his village and made it famous on the show. We have a music academy -- Meet Bros Academy -- that is spread across the country, and I wish that we get a chance to open our academy in your hometown, Pilibhit. You will be a permanent member, and if you come there, you can teach as well. I want you to run the academy,” he added.
‘Superstar Singer 3’ airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
