Mohanlal's Lucifer Becomes Highest Grosser

Complete actor Mohanlal came up with his latest flick, Lucifer. Directed by another star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film had hit the screens last Friday amidst high expectations. The movie is a thrilling political drama which also features Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier in other lead roles.

The film has opened extremely well at the box office, all thanks to the heavy star cast. Within five days of the release, it has collected a gross of over Rs. 60 crores at the Malayalam box office. It has also become the fifth highest grosser of Malayalam film industry within no time.

The films ahead of Lucifer are Pulimurugan (141 crores), Premam (73 crores), Kayamkulam Kochunni (67.5 crores) and Drishyam (63.7 Crores). There are high chances for it to become the highest grosser as well. It is also performing well in the US as it has collected around $425k till now.
