After Upendra, It's Darshan For Nayanthara

Remember Nayanthara? Yes, the girl who wooed the Kannada audiences in Real Star Upendra's Super? Now, we hear she's all set to make a comeback to Kannada. And this time it will be none other than Sandalwood's Challenging Star Darshan Thoogudeepa. As per the buzz which has gone viral, thanks to the murmurs in Gandhinagar circles, Nayanthara has been approached to play a key role in Darshan's Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka, a period flick.

Interestingly, the first schedule of Raja Veera Madakari Nayak featuring Darshan has already been wrapped up. Now, the crew is gearing up for the shoot in the second schedule of the movie. So this sudden talk about Nayanthara being roped into the movie for a prominent role is surprising.

Earlier there were reports that Sandalwood queen Ramya aka Divya Spandana will be playing the female lead. Now, if you are asking why Nayan now, we hear that the makers were super impressed with the actress' performances in period flicks like Sri Rama Rajyam and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and think that she will be the apt choice for the role in Darshan's Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka which has raised a lot of expectations among the audiences.

Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka is directed by Rajendra Singh Babu and stars Sumalatha Ambareesh as the Rajamata while Sharat Lohitashwa plays Hyder Ali.
