Anirudh Grateful For Aaryavardhan Role In Jothe Jotheyali
Popular Kannada TV serial "Jothe Jotheyali" has given a fillip to the acting career of Anirudh Jakaar, the son-in-law of yesteryear Kannada actor Sahasasimha Vishnuvardhan. His Aarya Vardhan role in this serial has captured the minds of Kannada audience in many ways. The shooting of this serial which had got stalled all these days due to coronavirus threat has now resumed.
During a candid conversation with the media, Anirudh spoke about how he spent his time during the lockdown. "I am doing a documentary on Bharathi Amma (Vishnuvardhan's wife). As subtitles were due, I could finish them during this time. I sang many songs during the lockdown and even posted one song every day on social media after learning them. I have written many articles and kept them, because I may not find the time to write them after shooting resumes. I have rendered whatever little service I could render to my wife as well as my mother during this break. I have rendered my service in whatever way possible except cooking as they never allow me to do the cooking in spite of my pleading with them. I played some games with the children. Children of this generation don't know the games of our times. I made them learn some of those games and I also learnt a few games from them.
I have also done a dance video with them. I saw enough movies during lockdown along with web series and have learnt a lot of lessons from all of them. I have a collection of about 8000 movies including Indian movies and movies from around the world. After watching each movie, I venture to collect the details online to find out how those shots were taken and what all they have done to arrive at those scenes. These are all available online. I read them and discuss them at home. This is a sort of learning process for me along with entertainment. I have the habit of reading books and I read a lot of books during the lockdown. Shooting has resumed from May and the team has given a list of how shooting has to be carried out and the precautionary measures all the crew members have to take while at work. We are strictly following government instructions and we have enough responsibilities on our shoulders," said Anirudh recalling his lockdown routine.
While responding to a question on how does he feel when people recognise him as Aarya Vardhan, the actor says he feels happy about it as it was his dream to achieve this and now he is able to realise his dream. "I attribute this success to the people. So far, I have met many people. All of them have wished and blessed me. The fame I got now is the outcome of their blessings and wishes. Even my family has been supporting me in this endeavour. I would not have come to this field without their support. I came to the film field about twenty years ago and prior to this, I spent 8 years in drama theatres. I faced many ups and downs in that field. I was encouraged to go ahead in times of these ups and downs and as a result, I am here today. And I can't say more than this," signs off Anirudh.
Anirudh's Jothe Jotheyali is one of the most-watched serials on Kannada television. Anirudh's role has come in for a lot of appreciation from the audience. The TV serial is also vying for top place in the TRP charts.
