Guess Who's Directing Real Star Upendra's 50th Movie?

Sandalwood Real Star Upendra aka Uppi is contemplating on directing his 50th movie himself. The actor feels that there is no point in finishing shootings quickly and releasing them. People are still hesitating to come to theatres and movies are last priority for them. Health and life are more important at this stage.

Hence the actor feels that he will take enough time to get back on sets. His upcoming movie Kabza's indoor shooting was supposed to be held amidst hundreds of people. But it is impossible to execute the work in view of Covid virus. Hence the makers have decided to resume shooting in the month of January next year.

Upendra said that he didn't waste his lockdown time. He was totally involved in discussions works related to his political party Prajakeeya, writing Screenplay, and trying to find ways and means to grow crops within a short span of time. "I am working on some stories which came to my mind during the lockdown period. But I myself am yet to get convinced about my own story. Hence, I prepare the story and screenplay taking my own time. But my directorial film in which I am going to act will surely be on sets by next year," says the actor.

When asked about the news that Manju Mandavya would direct his 50th movie Upendra said that it was not precisely fixed. "My total number of movies have surpassed more than fifty if you take into account both kannada and Telugu movies. But when it comes to 50th movie in Kannada the number fifty is very important. Even my family was asking me when I would direct a movie. Hence I have decided to direct my fiftieth movie. The story line of that movie will be decided after studying the mindset and taste of the people and I am on that job now," says Upendra.

The actor also added that he is not sure about his son becoming a hero. "Let the children do what they like. I won't ask them to become heroes, but will support them in whatever they like to do," signed off Upendra.
