Illegal Telecast Of Yash's KGF Puts Telugu TV Channel In Trouble
We all know that KGF refers to Kolar Gold Fields. Not just the name, the movie itself mint gold at the box office. The movie set a new benchmark at the box office. And the makers made a huge fortune from marketing this Kannada movie which was dubbed into several languages. Lead actor Yash, who is known as the rocking star in Sandalwood became a sensation overnight for his performance in the movie.
Despite the fact that it has been a year and a half that KGF Chapter 1 was released, the hype surrounding the movie refuses to die down. We all know the kind of viewership the movie got when it got released on Amazon Prime Video a few months ago.
Now, to cash in on the lockdown and get TRPs, a local Telugu cable TV channel has taken the illegal route. The Channel which goes by the name Every illegally telecast Yash's KGF Chapter 1 without buying the rights from the producers. This has angered the makers.
The creative producer of Hombale movies which bankrolled the film has warned the channel on Twitter saying they will sue the channel owners for illegal telecast of KGF Chapter 1. Have a look...

The movie is directed by Prashanth Neel, who is now busy with the production of KGF Chapter 2 which stars Yash, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. The movie's theatrical release has been set for October 23, 2020.
