Kannada Actor Builds Temple In Memory Of Mother
Umpteen number of movies have come in which the greatness and values of a mother have been depicted to show how people must have regards and respect for their mother. Actors have gone on to deliver lengthy dialogues to emphasise the importance of mother in one's life. But now, we hear about an actor and director who has built a temple for his late mother to showcase his love.
A multilingual Kannada actor by name Rajshekar Kotian who is now residing in Mumbai, has built a temple and installed an idol in memory of his beloved mother at his native place Saanthur near Udupi.
This idol was carved by sculptors of Rajasthan. He has spent about six lakhs for the making of this idol. "I wanted my mother to be with me always. Hence I have got an idol made and is worshipping it every day," says Rajashekar Kotian.
The actor has even appeared in Tamil, Tulu, Kannada, and Hindi, language films. The actor, who is a friend of Sandalwood actor Darshan has directed movies also.
