KGF Actor Yash's Heart Beats For Kannada Filmmakers

Rocking star Yash is one of the most sought after actors in Sandalwood. His previous release KGF which became a massive hit made the Kannada actor a household name in other film industries too. His movie set a new benchmark at the box office after which offer came knocking at his door. However, it appears Yash's heart lies in Karnataka and beats for Kannada. Even though his movies are multilingual, he is yet to do a straight movie in any language other than Kannada.

The latest we hear is that Yash was approached by several filmmakers from other industries for their movies. So the talk was that the actor might try his luck in other languages. However, as per the latest buzz, the KGF actor is said to have finalised a Kannada director for next. As per sources, Yash is joining hands with none other than Narthan of Mufti fame. Incidentally, Narthan worked as an assistant director for Prashanth Neel in Ugramm.

Apparently, Yash has finished the reading sessions with Narthan and they have taken their discussion to the next level. The speculation about this collaboration arose after the Kannada director was seen making several rounds to the KGF actor's office. Yash is known to work on one movie at a time so an official word on his next collaboration will only be out after KGF 2 release.

Meanwhile, the shooting of KGF 2 is incomplete and we hear the makers are planning to complete it in 25 days. KGF Chapter 2 is directed by Prashant Neel and bankrolled by Hombale Films. The film stars Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt in key roles.

Yash's KGF Chapter 2 directed by Prashant Neel will hit theatres on October 23, 2020.
