Nidhi Subbaiah to essay lead role in director Lohith H's next film
Bengaluru: Actress Nidhi Subbaiah who played a supporting role in the family drama 'Ayushmanbhava' after long break is set to essay lead character in Lohith H's new production venture. According to sources, the film which the team is planning to announce officially on Saturday will be based on 'Mexican Doll Island'.
Speaking to The Hans India, Lohith H said, "We are proud to announce our next venture, tentatively titled Production No.2. Friday Films in association with Silver Train Internal and CK Cine Creations is producing this film. The title of the film will be launched in the next few days and this will bring back our sensational actress Nidhi Subbaiah in a lead role. The script is heroine-centric and it would be Nidhi Subbaiah's to play this type of character. I have also decided to do my bit by making movies which are going to be a mix of good content laced with entertainment to suit the taste of the audience."
Lohit H, who made his debut with Mummy Save Me, followed it with Devaki, both starring Priyanka Upendra and is making his debut as a producer with this film. Nidhi Subbaiah, on her association with the film said, "This will be my first heroine-centric film. What intrigues me is the subject. You have seen me in a variety of roles so far. Though I cannot reveal the story now, I can say that this is unique and will special in my career. I have also found a dedicated team." Kishor Narasimhaiah, Biji Arun and Chethan Krishnana are the producers of the film. Pavan and Prasad are writers and directors.
