Sandalwood Simple Star Rakshit Shetty of Kirik Party fame is busy with the production of his upcoming movie "777 Charlie". Now, the actor is contemplating on producing a web series, we hear.
Rakshit Shetty is known for his out of the box thinking and is a talented actor and director. He always keeps encouraging innovative thinking. Now, he has planned to produce a web series to suit the OTT platform.
Earlier, a web series had come out under the supervision of RJ Pradeep. Now, Rakshit Shetty is taking up one such project. This is the season of web series. Web series are being telecast on different OTT platforms with the same quality as those of cinemas. "I have written a subject during the lockdown period. It is named "Ekam". This will totally consist of eight episodes. During the first season, we can see stories related to coastal areas. Special features of Coastal areas and people's lifestyle will be presented in these episodes," says Rakshit Shetty.
"Usually, the stories in web series will be centred around crime and other thriller subjects. But, our Ekam series will resemble Malgudi Days. Malgudi Days captured the beauty of Western Ghats and People's lifestyle in different places. But in this series, we will try to completely portray the life of the coastal regions. We will give opportunities for new-comers too. I will be producing this series but the series will be helmed by different people," says Rakshit Shetty.
Rakshit Shetty is contemplating the idea of having different stories in eight different episodes. For the time being, Sumanth Bhat will be acting in these episodes. The shooting will commence from January in coastal areas. Though this story will revilve around life and people incoastal areas, it will be liked by all Indians.
Rakshit Shetty's writers' team is working on this theme. Ekam series will emotionally connect with the people who have lived for a long time in coastal areas. Though Malgudi Days had stories connected to respective Nativities, it had attracted all the people of India. "I am confident that this series will draw the attention of everyone going beyond language barriers," signs off Rakshit Shetty.
