Thalapathy Vijay, Yash, SS Rajamouli Top Celebrity Newsmakers This Week: Find Out Why

The week gone by saw a lot of action happening both on and off the sets of movies. The biggest announcement came from none other than maverick director and Baahubali maker SS Rajamouli who said that his magnum opus RRR release date was being postponed. Speculation was aplenty surrounding the postponement with people coming up with several theories for the delay in their schedule.

Later it was the turn of Sandalwood's most anticipated sequel KGF Chapter 2 makers to grab the opportunity with both hands. We hear that they are considering the release date of RRR to release their magnum opus featuring Yash. Prashanth Neel is expected to finalise the date given that there is no big movie releases lined up around that time. Besides, fans are waiting with bated breath to know when the much awaited movie will hit theatres. The presence of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has increased the curiosity of moviebuffs.

The most shocking of the news came the sets of Vijay's upcoming movie Master. The film is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. There was news that the IT sleuths suddenly showed up on the sets of the Master shooting location in Neyveli much to the shock of everyone present. It was said that Kollywood actor was asked to accompany them to Chennai for questioning with respect to unaccounted transactions with his last movie Bigil producer Anbu of AGS Entertainment banner under which the Vijay movie was produced.

The movie as per trade buzz collected a whopping 300 crores. Later it emerged that the IT officials did not go to Neyveli but instead went knocking on the doors of Vijay's Chennai residence and that the actor had to cut short his shoot to rush to his home. He is said to have fielded questions regarding his actual remuneration and profits he made from his latest release Bigil. Also, the IT sleuths found Rs 65 lakhs at the residence of Anbu.

So guy, there were many newsmakers this week but these three topped the headlines.
