Balakrishna terms 'Ruler' a winner
Nandamuri Balakrishna talking at the pre-release event of his upcoming film 'Ruler' said the film has enough potential to strike a chord with the masses.
"I am following in my father's footsteps in doing different roles. I did films like 'Aditya 369,' 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' and 'Legend' and Telugu viewers patronized me.
Our earlier film 'Jai Simha' was a winner, so I joined hands with C Kalyan and K S Ravikumar. As we couldn't find right kind of script, I called writer Paruchuri Murali and he came up with this interesting story.
I am confident that audience will also like it. I had a dream to play a farmer and it got fulfilled in this movie. Like me, K S Ravikumar is also passionate about movies and we wrapped up the film in four months.
Guest director Boyapati Srinu added, "The title aptly suits the stature of Balakrishna since he is the ruler of 'arts' and 'hearts.'
K S Ravikumar has delivered many hit movies in Tamil. I am sure the film will rock the box office, riding on Balakrishna's performance,"
Producer C Kalyan said 'Ruler' will be another winner since they have found the right script that suits the larger-than-life image of Nandamuri star. "It will be a much bigger hit than 'Jaisimha'.
