Box office records are transient, says Allu Arjun
Reigning star Allu Arjun who is basking in the success of his latest film 'Ala Vaikuntapurramlo' said box office records are transient and keep changing.
"Yesterday someone had the record, today we have beaten it, tomorrow someone will beat it. But films will stay forever in the hearts of audience", said the actor at a press briefing on Monday. He also ruled out that he is personally involved in putting up record-breaking posters.
"It is my producers who are putting those numbers to tell the world about the magnitude of this film's success, but not me. In fact, these 'industry hit' posters are a reciprocation of people's love towards us, than anything else," he added.
He is glad that he is able to score a record-breaking success with his father and legendary producer Allu Aravind. "Every hero will get a top grosser at one point of time in his career and for me it happened now. Geetha Arts has 15 plus industry hits but I didn't have one.
Today I'm happy that with 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,' I've scored such hit along with my father" said elated Allu Arjun, who is planning to host a couple of bashes for film fraternity and others. "I want to celebrate this success with film fraternity and others big time, because I am known to be a party animal," he smiles.
He claimed that megastar Chiranjeevi judged the range of the film's success by just watching the film alone at home."Chiranjeevi garu stated that our film will collect a huge number and popped up a figure.
We thought that he was just saying to encourage us, but that is happening in reality now," he informed. He also thanked reigning star Jr NTR for wishing him. "Thank you Bava," he concludes.
